Interim Super Eagles Head Coach, Salisu Yusuf, has called up 26 players for the forthcoming international friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg in Europe.
The list includes Brown Ideye, who is returning to international football after a long absence. He last featured for Nigeria at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, which Nigeria won.
Other regulars invited are the skipper, John Mikel Obi, forwards Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo and goalkeeper Carl Ikeme. Also uncapped Turkey-based defender, Musa Mohammed and Chiedozie Awaziem from Porto earned call-ups.
The three time African champions will take on Mali in France on 27th May before flying to Luxembourg to take on that country’s National Team on the first day of June.
