TEN prominent Muslim families will be conferred with merit awards tomorrow in Ibadan, Oyo State, for their model lifestyles and contributions to the society.
The awards have been put together by Dr Dawood Amoo’s Forum for Comparative Sermons (FOCOS). Amoo is a renowned Ibadan-based preacher.
A statement said the event, slated for 9.00 a.m. at Liberty Stadium, Oke-Ado, would have Governor Abiola Ajimobi as special Guest of honour and the Minister of Communications, Mr Bayo Shittu, as chairman.
The Chief Missionary of the Nasrul Lahi-il Fathi Society (NASFAT) Worldwide, Alhaji Abdullahi Akinbode, the statement added, will be the spiritual father of the day, while Malam Yusuf Adepoju will deliver the lecture.
Other dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include Alhaji Rasheed Adesokan, Professor Rasheed Aderinoye, Professor Lawal Salako and Alhaji Kunle Sanni.
