Fuel Price Hike: NLC Begins Protest In Abuja

Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), on Wednesday, took to the streets in Abuja to protest the decision of the Federal Government to the hike the pump price of petrol from N86.50 to N145.  The protest began at the Labour House, Central Area, at about 8 am. Many of the protesters wore red aprons and wielded placards with inscriptions depicting their disagreement with the price hike. “A.P.C means All Promises Cancelled,” read one of the placards.
